Volans Couture was founded in 2005, by Taiwanese photographer Eric and wedding gown designer Vivian. Both founders, who have been in the business of weddings since 1997, share a professional attitude and firm belief of ‘putting their customers’ happiness first’ as their business motto. The mature but cheerful Eric said in Mandarin, “Your wedding is my wedding.”
Eric, who is Volans’ Art Director, has 20 years of experience in creative and precision photography in advertising and magazines. But he fell in love with wedding photography as it captures the romantic and personal moments of a couple, celebrating the union with aesthetics and creativity.

“Wedding gowns are supposed to bring out the bride’s personality,” said Vivian in Mandarin, Volan’s Chief Wedding Gown Designer, who has 20-odd years of experience in fashion, wedding gown design, and styling. Vivian shared that while she is particular about the intricate details of wedding gowns, it’s most important that the bride-to-be stands out in the dress, and not get upstaged by it.
“We are picky about off-the-rack gowns we bring in. Some customers who first enter our boutique may comment that we have limited quantity of dresses. But soon they realize they can easily pick a dress that best suits them. We provide select off-the-rack wedding gowns. We value quality over quantity”, said Vivian. Apart from off-the-rack select wedding gowns, the design team at Volans Couture also offers bespoke wedding gowns and suits services.
